Jennifer Lopez is one hot mama, and it's not unlikely that high school boys can still have the hots for her at 45. If they give her the right kind of attention, maybe, she can give them the time of day. But will she ever sleep with a minor?
In her latest movie, she does.
The thriller "The Boy Next Door" stars J. Lo as a high school teacher stuck in a loveless marriage, and when the boy next door moves in, sparks fly. Hunky teen Noah (Ryan Guzman) attends her school and shows he's interested in more than just her classes.
The new trailer released shows Guzman starting the dangerous attraction with his older next door neighbor, telling her, "God, you're beautiful. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have."
She flirts back, telling him "It's OK. That's the nicest thing anyone's said to me in a long time."
Hormones and loneliness then take over logic and reasoning, things go too far, and when J. Lo's character realizes she does not want anything to do with the boy, he didn't take it well. His obsession with her becomes dangerously high, and he starts terrorizing her. All hell breaks loose as he fights to keep her in his life - in the most twisted ways possible.
"The Boy Next Door" is the first of three movies that the "American Idol" judge had slated for next year, and although she probably isn't one of the greats as far as actors go, she showcased her talent again in the thriller that The Hollywood Reporter has dubbed as Alicia Silverstone's erotic thriller from way back in the early 90's, "The Crush".
The Wire described the movie trailer as "spectacularly batsh*t, with lots of double entendre ("It got pretty wet here," "I love your mother's cookies") and J. Lo walking around with a giant knife. There's even random Kristin Chenoweth! Glinda deserves more film work, too."
Written by Barbara Curry and directed by Rob Cohen, "The Boy Next Door" also stars John Corbett, Kristin Chenoweth, and Hill Harper. Set for a January 2015 release, the film is one way to start the new year with a thrill (and a reminder for teachers everywhere that it's never a good idea to start dating your student).
