The "50 Shades of Grey" trilogy has been dubbed as brown paper bag books - books so full of naughty things, you have to hide it in a brown paper bag just so that nobody else can peek.
Unfortunately, for those excited for the movie release, it's not going to be as hot and heavy as the books have been, at least, according to Christian Grey himself, Jamie Dornan.
According to the actor, die-hard fans and viewers will either be very happy or very disappointed, because the racy sex scenes have been edited out of the movie.
In an interview, Dornan said that the movie is not as titillating on screen. On the X-rated scenes, he shared on to GQ (as published by Yahoo), "I'm not really fearful of that stuff. It's strange work for sure. But it's still just work. I just get on with it. In some ways it'll break a few boundaries. But at the same time, they want to put bums on seats. They can't alienate an audience. You know it has to be watchable. It can't be hard core. I wouldn't have signed up to it if it was. You've got to make something a large amount of people can go and see. It's not going to be grotesque."
Dornan will star in "50 Shades of Grey" opposite Dakota Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele, the college student he enters into a racy S&M relationship with.
The Hollywood Reporter took note that Don Johnson, Dakota's father, told Good Morning Britain in June, "This is the family business. I am absolutely certain that Dakota will take a piece of material and a character, which a lot of people might imagine could be inappropriate in some ways, and turn it into something spectacular."
However, screen veteran Tippi Hedren, Johnson's grandmother, recently said that despite his public support, Don was not pleased about his daughter's first big role. His ex-wife, Melanie Griffith also said that neither she nor Don would be watching the film, mainly because it may be awkward for Dakota's part.
Hedren told The Hollywood Reporter, "I understand Don Johnson is very upset about her being in the film. He kind of had the same feeling that I did."
Step-dad Antonio Banderas, on the other hand, was more supportive of her decision.
While Dakota's family probably won't be watching the film, Jamie's is a different story altogether, telling Entertainmentwise that his dad will be proud of his breakout role. "He was all for it. I don't come from a cagey family. We're fairly liberal."
Watch Jamie turn into the sexy billionaire on "50 Shades of Grey," coming to cinemas in February.
