Bruce Jenner Sex Change Update: Khloe Kardashian Hates His Ponytail; Bets on Cutting it Off

Kardashian observers first noted Bruce Jenner's ponytail last year, especially after he and wife of more than two decades, Kris Jenner, announced their split in October 2013.

"The 63-year-old former Olympian was photographed rocking a ponytail on the golf course in Thousand Oaks, California," Us Weekly reported. "While practicing his swing at a driving range with daughters Kendall, 17, and Kylie Jenner, 16, Bruce pulled his long brown hair through the back of his cap."

The publication added that the new look came with a "new attitude." We wonder which -- the one of a man freed from marriage or the one of a man looking forward to the possibility of undergoing gender reassignment?

Then in March this year, Bruce's ponytail became noticeably longer, with some sources saying that the "long, lustrous hair is bred from a desire to be young again, to ape the rocker on the Harley look as he screams up the Pacific Coast Highway to his Malibu bachelor pad... locks flowing in the wind," as noted by The Daily Mail.

So, it's not born out of a desire to become "Bridget"? It was rumored in April that the former Olympian was considering a sex change and naming himself "Bridget" once the procedure is complete, Hollywood Life said.

However, it appears it's only Bruce who's loving his ponytail look. Stepdaughter Khloe Kardashian allegedly "hates it sooooo much that she made the fate of his worst accessory the wager in a little friendly competition," In Touch said.

A deleted scene in "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" reportedly showed the 30-year-old reality star commenting on Bruce's hair.

"Your ponytail looks cute. You wouldn't want to maybe cut it all off to make it healthy and start from scratch?" she playfully told him.

Unfortunately for Khloe, he didn't fall for her ruse and even accused her of being sent by sister Kim Kardashian-West to have it chopped off.

"Eventually, they come to an agreement while golfing: If the 64-year-old hits the fence of the green, it gets to stay-if he misses, it's snip city!" the publication said.

Given the former athlete's love for golf and, as expected, skill for the game, it appears Khloe stands to lose her wager.

We don't know how the game ended, but considering Bruce's hair is still shoulder-length, we bet Khloe was unsuccessful.

E! News noted last month that Bruce is "sporting a brand-new hairstyle."

"The former Olympian seems to be growing out his hair past his shoulders, and this is the longest we've seen it yet," the site observed. "And maybe it's just the way the sun was catching his hair in the light, but it looks as though Bruce may have added a reddish tint, as well."
