If the "Days of Future Past" fever has not subsided in you yet, might as well get ready for another "X-Men" franchise coming this May of 2016. "X-Men: Apocalypse" has been reported by IGN via Hallels to sport Bryan Singer and Simon Kinberg, "Future Past" director and screenwriter duo. We can highly anticipate the members of the Four Horsemen -- Holocaust, Exodus, Archangel, and Selene -- to take part in the movie adaptation's eighth installment. Hallels strongly believes that the four of them are claiming the limelight this time around.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" is presumed to center on the character of Apocalypse, the first human to have the mutant x gene on planet Earth. Movie Pilot provides a description of his Egyptian ancestry, born with gray purple skin. Abandoned for being a freak, he was taken into custody by a tribe of wanderers after seeing his strength and will to survive. It was the Sandstormers who gave Apocalypse his Egyptian name of En Sabah Nur, meaning, "The First One". Aside from the historical feat, he is also noted for the creation of the Four Horsemen in the Marvel Universe.
With this knowledge, we address the appearance of Ben Foster, who played Archangel in "X-men: The Last Stand", for a probable comeback. Hallels also shares about Michael Fassbender (young Magneto) who assumes that the events in "Days of Future Past" may "affect" "X-men: Apocalypse". Nightcrawler, who witnesses the terror of Apocalypse, becomes one of Magneto's deadliest assets.
Bryan Singer noted "Days of Future Past" in SciFiNow UK as "between the birth of that relationship with Charles and Erik and the formation of the 'X-Men'" - this gives us the idea of portraying how the "X-Men" came together. Now this smells like a flashback, and with such, we expect Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Storm to return for "X-Men: Apocalypse".
Cyclops (played by James Marsden) and Jean Grey (played by Famke Janssen) died in "X-Men: The Last Stand". On the other hand, Storm (played by Halle Berry) comes back for the post-apocalyptic events in "Days of Future Past".
Meanwhile, Enstars sets high anticipation on the character of Nightcrawler (played by Alan Cumming), who was last seen in X2. Nightcrawler thrived in the German countryside, unconscious of his frightening appearance. He is Roman Catholic - even if his look begs to disagree. His abilities include superhuman agility, teleportation, and extremity adhesion.
Cyclops and Jean Grey return as youngsters, and Nightcrawler becomes even more promising. With Magneto (Michael Fassbender), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), and Quicksilver (Evan Peters) returning as well, we can never be more thrilled on how cutthroat the battle would be against Apocalypse!
