I Spy Jennifer Lawrence! Despite her absence in the propaganda-like posters that have been building the hype for the release of the two "Mockingjay" films, a couple of photos of the cast, including JLaw, have surfaced on the film franchise's official Facebook page, Bustle reported.
The first one, obviously, shows Lawrence, looking lovely in a blue printed sleeveless top, posing alongside co-stars Elizabeth Banks (who plays quirky Effie Trinket) and one of her onscreen partners, Liam Hemsworth. The caption accompanying the photo reminds people that it is only a hundred days more before the release of one of the most anticipated films this year.
In another photo, we see the fiery emblem of Katniss Everdeen, which is a mockingjay, also emblazoned with the words "100 Days."
Meanwhile, following his win at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards, Josh Hutcherson, who plays Lawrence's other onscreen partner, Peeta Mallark, shared how the "Hunger Games" actors celebrated after filming wrapped. The first photo on the Facebook page might have been taken at the party.
"We had like a wrap party the night we finished and that was great to let it lose on the last time together after all the filming. I don't want to be melancholy, but it was kind of a sad ending to it all. We weren't ready for it to be finished yet," Hitfix quoted Hutcherson as saying.
For those who haven't read Suzanne Collins' novels, "Mockingjay: Part 1" chronicles the events after Katniss' escape from the Quarter Quell arena. Although she was rescued by Gale, Plutarch Heavensbee (Philip Seymour Hoffman) and Haymitch (Woody Harrelson), Katniss becomes shell-shocked when she learns that her beloved home in District 12 has been obliterated by the Capitol, as ordered by President Snow (Donald Sutherland). Peeta has been captured alongside feisty Johanna Mason (Jena Malone) and they are being kept as pawns by the Capitol. As she struggles to remain the inspiration for the rebellious District 13, she is at odds with the fact that Peeta might turn against her and side with the Capitol. Several hundreds of lives would be at stake if District 13 decides to conquer the formidable city. Along the way, she would eventually choose who to love: her childhood friend Gale or her battle partner Peeta.
"Mockingjay: Part 1" will be released in theaters on November 21.
