Ah, Hollywood. It's really hard to know if there's trouble on the set of a movie or TV production because the cast are all smiles throughout their promotional press tour. The only time you'll discover that there is drama on the set is when an actor comments about it.

Enter Freddie Prinze Jr. and Kiefer Sutherland. During this year's Comic Con in San Diego, Sarah Michelle Gellar's husband was unusually open to ABC News when asked about how it was working with the veteran actor on "24."

Prinze Jr., whose credits include the "I Know What You Did Last Summer" franchise and "Scooby Doo," said, "I did 24. It was terrible. I hated every moment of it. Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That's not me talking trash; I'd say it to his face. I think everyone that's worked with him has said that. I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped."

Apparently, Prinze Jr.'s comments appear to be valid, according to TMZ. The entertainment site's sources, who have a connection with the actor, said that Sutherland was drunk regularly on the set, and had been keeping everyone on the set waiting as he attempts to get sober enough to play his scenes. Moreover, Prince Jr. reportedly claimed that Sutherland was temperamental, and he got people fired.

Sutherland took the high road and chose to be diplomatic with his answers after Prinze Jr.'s comments. On Monday afternoon, the "24" star's representative was quoted by Fox News as saying, "Kiefer worked with Freddie Prinze Jr. more than five years ago, and this is the first he has heard of Freddie‘s grievances. Kiefer enjoyed working with Freddie and wishes him the best."

Sutherland has also said something similar about his co-star in a Parade interview. He said, "We have some great actors joining us - Mykelti Williamson is the head of CTU, Freddie Prinze Jr. is playing my partner. So, it's this great balance between something that's new and what fans will find familiar."

Whether there is any truth to Prinze Jr.'s comments about the "24" actor being difficult on the set, there is a high possibility that he will reject any future projects with Sutherland in it.
