Is Orlando Bloom Nina Dobrev's new boyfriend? Fresh from the news that her ex- and "The Vampire Diaries" co-star Ian Somerhalder has stepped out in public with his new squeeze, "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed, Dobrev has been reported to be getting flirty with the 37 year-old actor at a party at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, US Magazine said.
Insiders who have spotted the pair told the magazine that the two had spent some time together, and considering that both are single (Bloom is separated from his former wife Miranda Kerr), rumors are bound to proclaim that the two would hit it off. The two seemed to have not cared about the possibility of getting some tongues wagging, as there were a lot of people who observed the two's closeness at the Playboy's party for A&E's show "Bates Motel."
The US Magazine insider said, "Nina has known Orlando for a few years now. She's been out with him in social settings with mutual friends. She's always thought he was an attractive man."
The New York Daily News' snitch also shared, "[The two were] dancing very closely, flirting, laughing and whispering in each other's ears. Orlando is usually reserved, but he had his hands around her waist and he was dancing with her very closely. At one point, I really thought they were going to kiss."
On the other hand, E! News said that Dobrev might not have just fixed her heart, at least, on Bloom yet. Although the entertainment news site also reported the two's closeness in the party, a source said the actress is just buying her time until she meets the right man for her.
"Nina is loving single life. She is definitely enjoying herself right now," the source said.
At another party hosted by Entertainment Weekly at the Float in Hard Rock Hotel on Saturday night, Dobrev was also spotted getting cozy with "Gotham" star Benjamin Mckenzie. The pair were also seen leaving the party, but not before sharing some warm hugs.
Dobrev was also seen hanging out with Derek Theler of "Baby Daddy" fame. A snitch told E! News, "Both were with other friends and everyone was just hanging out having a good time."
On the other hand, another source told Hollywood Life that despite getting handsy with a string of Hollywood hunks, Dobrev's heart might still be beating for Somerhalder, even though he has already moved on. The source claimed, "Nina is over him to the point that she doesn't have to date him ever again, but she will always love him. She can't hate him because that would make things weird on the show and would make so many things go into shambles. She knows that she can't be unprofessional."
