Ed Sheeran shows off his girlfriend, and it's not BFF, Taylor Swift. No, he didn't rekindle his romance with former flame, Ellie Goulding, either.
The ginger-haired singer was spotted having a whale of a time in Ibiza with his new ladylove, Athina Andrelos. Check out the photos of the happy couple here.
The pair was spotted by the paparazzi while they were aboard a luxurious, £1,800-a-day yacht over the weekend, along with a group of friends, Daily Mail reported. Sheeran was clearly enjoying the break following his performance at Ibiza Rocks the night before. Holding each other's hands, the couple jumped together off the yacht and into the ocean while their friends looked on and took pictures.
Sheeran, who was wearing red shorts with floral print, was observed to be in high spirits with his girlfriend, who was wearing a mismatched bikini. Putting her hair up, there was no doubt Sheeran was feeling proud of Andrelos.
So, who is Andrelos and how did Sheeran meet her?
Citing a radio station interview in April, the British tabloid said the 23-year-old debunked rumors of him dating a model and was quoted as saying, "She's not a model, and she's 5 ft 2 if this girl's worried about her being 5 ft. 4! She's not a model at all, or a musician."
Daily Mail said that the brunette beauty had once worked in the music industry, and has since shifted careers to managing food stylists for U.K. chef, Jamie Oliver's company.
Swift has not spoken about her BFF's new girlfriend. She may be keeping mum about it, in the same way that Swift wants Sheeran to keep mum about her dating life. Reports cited by the International Business Times claimed that Swift and several of Sheeran's friends were upset when the British singer spilled secrets during interviews.
A Daily Star UK insider said, "She was annoyed with Ed when he said in a recent interview how she should date Orlando Bloom - especially as she'd admitted in private how she had the hots for him. Poor Ed felt terrible - like he was a scolded schoolboy."
