With the transfer of superstar LeBron James back to Cleveland, Dwyane Wade is again the king of Miami County.

Wade recently re-signed with the Miami Heat in a deal which will provide both sides a lot of room to adjust in the next few years. The agreement was officially signed on July 15, 2014, which will run for two years. In the second year, Wade has a player option.

Wade shared his passion in continuing to play for the team that drafted him more than a decade ago by tweeting, "Home Is Where The Heart Is... My Home, My City, My House". He also uploaded a picture of himself below the three NBA championship banners that Miami won in the previous years.

In a Yahoo! Sports report, Wade further talked about staying in Miami, "I am proud to have spent every single day of my career as a member of the Miami Heat and to have brought three championship titles to this great city. I've been here through the good times and the hard times. I have confidence in the Miami Heat organization and the team they are building."

According to the Seattle Times, the 32-year-old All-Star guard will earn anywhere between $31 and $34 million for the two-year contract. The financial details have yet to be divulged but many speculate that Wade will be earning less than $20.2 he would have made in his old contract. In May 2014, Wade opted out of his contract after the Miami Heat was supposed to re-sign LeBron James for a maximum salary contract.

Miami Heat president Pat Riley said, "Dwyane has been the franchise cornerstone for this team since the day he arrived 11 years ago. He has shown his commitment to the Heat many times over the course of his career and has always been willing to sacrifice in order to help build this team into a champion. This time is no different."

The Heat also successfully re-signed center Chris Bosh. Bosh will complete his five-year contract with the franchise in the upcoming season, worth $118 million. Pat Riley said that the Heat does not need to rebuild but only to retool. The team has been aggressive in acquiring small forward James Ennis and Danny Granger to strengthen the paint. Luol Deng was also signed for a $20 million deal lasting two years.

The Miami Heat is expected to remain formidable in the 2014-2015 NBA season with the Big Two together with new talents.
