In April this year, Amber Heard's ex-boyfriend, actor Mark Wystrach, reportedly claimed that the actress is expecting a child with her Hollywood A-lister fiance Johnny Depp.
"She's pregnant already! I saw her three weeks ago," Wystrach was quoted by The Daily Mail. He also said that although they've dated years ago, they are "still close" to this day.
Are these claims actually true? If you ask the 50-year-old actor himself, he will tell you this: "A child? Good god, what do you think I am, a savage? No, no truth to that. [It's] not a shotgun affair."
Despite this denial, Johnny did say he's not against being a father again. "I love kids. I have two, and they're perfect. Man, I'd make 100. But I've got the easy gig, right?" he gamely shared to Extra TV in an interview.
Now, a revelation by the 28-year-old actress' own father has reinforced the fact that the couple is not against having kids of their own, but at the right time, of course. But when is that?
"There is a right way to do things and she and Johnny are the type of people that do it right. We will have grandchildren, but after the wedding," Amber's dad David told Grazia. "They are both so busy right now, both doing films, so they have no date but it will be sooner rather than later. Probably this Fall."
"It's the time in Johnny's life where he is thinking he can spend more time with the kids," he continued. David added.
Sounds reasonable enough. After all, Johnny has already hit the big 5-0 -- he's bound to slow down at some point and actually enjoy family life.
The actor is currently shooting a movie about gangster James "Whitey" Bulger. Amber, although not included in the film, has been spotted visiting her fiancee on the set Monday.
