One of the biggest updates about ABC TV series "Once Upon a Time" is the fact that Queen Elsa from "Frozen" will be part of the cast in season 4.
"Elsa is shown materializing from a sparkling spilled liquid, but viewers were only offered a back view of the monarch. 'Once Upon a Time's' Twitter isn't giving up any secrets either," People said last month, in describing one of the season finale's scenes teasing Storybrooke's newest addition.
"'Frozen's' Elsa will be part of the Once ensemble for season four, but what treatment will the character receive at the hands of 'Once Upon A Time's' creators?" Den of Geek wondered aloud for all fans of the series. More importantly, who will play the famous Disney character?
According to The Epoch Times, speculations have it that actresses Elizabeth Mitchell and Maggie Grace are "on the top of many lists" on who will play the Snow Queen. "Mitchell and Grace are probably both most well-known for their roles in 'Lost' - Mitchell as Dr. Juliet Burke and Grace as Shannon."
Which actress do you think should be cast as the Snow Queen? Should the likes of Hayden Panettiere, Diana Agron, Blake Lively, Brittany Snow, Malin Ackerman, or Hilary Duff be cast instead?
Previously, the show's co-creators Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz explained to Entertainment Weekly the inclusion of the character, who was introduced to movie audiences not too long ago, into the series.
"For us, I think this is Elsa from Frozen. That was kind of the inspiration... Will there be our own elements put to it? Yes. Like all things like we do with Snow White or Peter Pan or Captain Hook, we take our own kind of twist on it but remaining faithful to the actual essence of the character," both revealed to the entertainment news source.
"For us, we felt that Frozen had a way that could slot into our universe that could honour the movie and also make it a part of our world," Den of Geek quoted them as saying.
Horowitz also revealed that they are already starting the search, although they have not cast anyone yet.
