Mark Ruffalo had an awesome performance playing the Incredible Hulk in Marvel's "Avengers" in 2012. In preparing for "Avengers 2" in 2015, the actor shared that there will be a lot more surprises in store for the green monster.
Ruffalo tweeted the news on May 21, 2014 in a report by Enstarz.com, "Let me put it to you this way. There is a Hulk surprise that is equally delightful as when he smashed the bejesus out of Loki [in Avengers]."
In Avengers, Hulk amazed fans by beating the Norse god Loki with his giant fists. Fans also anticipate the new villain Ultron, played by James Spader, to suffer the same devastating but funny end.
Kevin Feige, President of production of Marvel, said that Hulk and Hawkeye will have major roles in the upcoming movie. He said, "[It] was important in the characters you haven't seen [since the firstAvengers movie] - Hulk being one of them and Hawkeye being one of them - [that] Ultron will make up for it. They have very big parts in 'Age of Ultron.'"
Some fans expect that a third Hulk movie will be made after "Avengers 2" but before "Avengers 3", there is still no official news yet. Compared to his predecessors who played the Hulk in their own standalone movies, Ruffalo is yet to have his own Hulk film. He did state that he is excited to have one of his own. The actor posted on Tumblr, "I would really like there to one day be a Hulk movie but it has to be just right," in a report by International Business Times.
Before, Edward Norton and Eric Bana played Dr. Bruce Banner, the alter ego of The Incredible Hulk. Dr. Banner is a scientist who was exposed to gamma radiation and turns into the powerful green monster when he is angry.
"The Avengers: Age of Ultron" the second in the series, is set to be on theatres on May 1, 2015, writes Christian Today.
