The relationship between Cuban William Levy and model Elizabeth Gutiérrez has been harassed by rumors of infidelity, possible separations, marriage proposals and a tumultuous family relationship; however, the actors have been modest in their statements and have allowed the gossip to simply pass by silently.
Despite this, in previous days a statement made from Elizabeth's allegedly official Facebook page surprised its followers. The model had decided to break the silence regarding her relationship to Levy and made it clear that despite being public figures, their problems are between them only.
"I received many messaged on my 'separation' from William Levy. I want to clear things up. Many times I've wanted to say something, but I stopped myself because of who I am and the man I'm with," read the message allegedly written by Gutiérrez. "But things can be misinterpreted and that's the last thing I need. For the people who don't know what kind of man William is, I freely invite you to meet him," she added.
The message also explained that rumors are part of their everyday life and that even if these are statements made by Elizabeth during interviews and previous comments, the actress denied being the one who published the information, saying sarcastically that she does not have a Facebook account.
"And since when do I have a Facebook account? Because I didn't know", wrote Elizabeth on her Twitter account.
"Thank you to my fans for always keeping me informed!! They're the best!" she added in a second tweet, closing the topic.
