Previously, Jennifer Lawrence opened up to Marie Claire about how she and her on-and-off-and-now-on boyfriend Nicholas Hoult "mutually ignore each other" to keep their relationship up and running despite their distance and busy schedules.
It can also be recalled that the young couple met and fell in love while working together on the first installment of the "X-Men" film franchise. Although their relationship fizzled out a couple of months after filming, they managed to rekindle their romance around the time they made the sequel, "X-Men: Days of Future Past."
Currently, the pair, along with their co-stars, are promoting the movie as it gears up for its May 23 release. They were most recently seen during the New York premiere of the Marvel flick Saturday, albeit separately. J-Law was sleek and sophisticated in her slinky, shimmery Jason Wu gown, while Nicholas was suitably scrubbed up in a suit, which he wore with a blue tie. The 23-year-old actress nearly succumbed to yet another fall when she attempted to navigate some steps. Thankfully, her minders had quick reflexes and were able to catch her just in time. Whew!
As expected, Jennifer shared an interesting detail about her co-star boyfriend, which her fans and admirers would feast on gleefully, we're sure.
When asked how it was working with Nicholas, she responded that it was "great! Obviously," People reported. Well, despite the obviousness, we're charmed by Jen's graciousness in answering such an obvious query.
"He's a fantastic actor, wonderful costar, great roommate," the award-winning actress, who plays Mystique in the latest "X-Men" installment," added.
Nicholas, for his part, elaborated on this detail by saying this: "It's fun because in this business you are away from one another for long periods of time, so when you're on set together it's a brilliant thing, because you actually get to spend time together."
Will their relationship survive after their film has been thoroughly promoted? Time will tell.
