Peaches Geldof Died of a Heroin Overdose: Ghost Hand Appears on Her Shoulder in Her Last Selfie [Picture]

The causes of the death of the second daughter of Aid band founder Bob Geldof, Peaches Geldof, were revealed by Kent authorities, in southern England, where in last April, the young 25-year-old woman was found dead and her 11- month-old baby was abandoned, next to her body.

Through a press release, authorities reported that the death of the English model, who was in the spotlight of socialité magazines due to her wide life among celebrities and renowned for her great beauty, was due to a heroin overdose, after finding drug paraphernalia around her, according to Reuters.

Peaches died in her home on April 7, when she was alone with her two small children. The investigation revealed that heroin was in her system. The police added that Geldof's husband, musician Thomas Cohen, was not under suspicion of her death or aware of the deceased's drug consumption problem.

Heroin has been one of the worst executioners of the Geldof family. In 2000, TV host Paula Yates, mother of Peaches, Pixie and Fifi Trixibelle, was found dead due to a heroin overdose at 41 years of age.

A picture taken by Peaches in the company of her daughter Astala surprised those close to her and strangers when it seemed like a ghost hand is touching the model on her right shoulder.

The presence of the ghost hand was commented on by Peaches herself, who after uploading her picture, Geldof said that it wasn't her hand, attributing its presence to "one of her own".

"This is a detail of the photograph which shows a mysterious ghost hand in a picture I took of Astala and I in the bathroom. It's not my hand, one of mine is around her waist to hold her during the picture, and other one is holding the camera to take the picture. Plus, the hand is around my shoulder," said the young woman on Instagram.

According to Mirror, Peaches had said that she had to leave the door to her room open in order to let some light into the room in case the "ghost" appeared again. The model added that she had discovered that a woman committed suicide years before in the bathroom after giving birth to a dead son.
