Kanye West wants his wedding with Kim Kardashian to be perfect and for this to happen he has not skimped out since he asked for her hand late last year, however, new reports indicate that the rapper is willing to offer a million dollars to the French government to borrow the services of the Guard of the Republic.
According to information published by newspaper Irish Examiner, the controversial rapper has requested the President of the French Republic, François Hollande, to use the state's security forces to protect guests and the socialité, star of the reality show "Keeping up with the Kardashians".
A source quoted by the newspaper said that "He asked his team to request President Hollande permission to use the Republican Guard, in charge of his protection. He has requested some of the 3,200 men that comprise the unit and has offered to pay $1 million for their services."
The wedding, of which the media has learned new details (and which at the start was supposed to be a lavish ceremony with thousands of guests and which has now become a more intimate party) will be celebrated on May 24 in Paris and has already given a lot to talk about in showbusiness and fans.
Besides what seems to be an extravagant petition to the French government, Kanye has chosen for a security choice that many have described as exaggerated.
"There will be double the number of security members than guests, and metal detectors at all the entrances. Kanye has insisted that everyone must submit to be checked and telephones and cameras will be confiscated. They will also be controlled by CCTV," said the source, quoted by the newspaper India Today.
Other details on what is planned to be the "wedding of the century", is that the American rapper is planning to close Paris' airspace so that paparazzi cannot obtain pictures of the great event from the sky.
