Attention "The Hunger Games" fans! "Mockingjay: Part 1" is set to hit theaters on November 21, 2014. In fact, one of its star-studded cast, Sam Claflin, revealed some details on the highly anticipated first part of the film adaptation's third installment.
During the actor's interview with Extra, Claflin was careful not to give out any spoilers that could ruin the thrill for many of its avid fans. "All I can say is that it's going very well and looks amazing," the actor who plays the Finnich Odair character stated.
The 27-year-old actor unraveled that with the movie franchise coming to an end, things are turning out to be a lot more serious, reports Fashion N Style. He also mentioned that there will be new people on board the movie, Enstarz writes.
The first part of the two part film written by Danny Strong started shooting on September 23 in Atlanta. The battle scenes were done in Paris and also at the Berlin Templehof Airport.
Claflin also shared how the sets were made to look incredible and the costumes looking a lot more interesting. "There's a lot more to come," the hunk actor added.
IBT also says that based on reports made by Mockingjay.net, there were about a thousand extras hired to be included in shooting the scenes of the upcoming film. Oscar award-winner Jennifer Lawrence will surely be back as the female heroine Katniss Everdeen alongside love team Josh Hutcherson playing the role of Peeta Mellark. Other stars included in the "Mockingjay: Part 1" movie are Liam Hemsworth, Julianne Moore, Donald Sutherland, Willow Shields and Natalie Dormer among many others.
The "Hunger Games" fans and followers may most likely get to watch a teaser trailer of "Mockingjay: Part 1" on May 14-25, in time for France's annual Cannes event.
