Quoted statements from Michael Schumacher's manager, in which she allegedly assured that the seven-times Formula 1 champion had woken up from his coma, were denied on Friday by German journalists.
According to car enthusiast magazine, Autoevolution on Friday, April 25, Sabine Khem, manager of the German pilot, told TV channel RLT that Schumacher had woken up from the induced coma he's in, and that he had even recognized his wife.
Khem's statements quickly caused a stir in the media; however, a couple of hours later, Interfax and Gazeta.ru denied the statements, and assured that the pilot is going through a difficult process to leave the induced coma, and his condition continues to be private; however, they claimed "alternating states between consciousness and coma", reported Albawaba Sports.
On the matter, Bild journalist Nicola Pohl wrote on her Twitter account that the pilot's manager texted her that she had not said such things.
Schumacher awake? Sorry, but those Rumors from Spain apparently not true. Kehm just texted me she hadn't confirmed anything to RTL

The statements attributed to Kehm on Friday have caused confusion in the media, since some publications even suggested that the German pilot would soon be able to speak to the press, rumors which were finally dismissed on Friday.
The Formula 1 legend was placed in an induced coma and since last December has been under intensive care at the Grenoble University Hospital to help his brain heal from a strong blow to the head he suffered while skiing in the French Alps.
However, some medical sources fear that once Schumacher is woken up from the coma he might suffer from Apallic Syndrome or being declared to be in a permanent vegetative state.
