Has Asami Zdrenka truly captured One Direction singer Harry Styles' affection?
Amira McCarthy, Asami's bandmate in Neon Jungle, served as witness to the momentous meeting of the celebrity 1D fan and the famous British band's resident lothario himself. "There was sparks, fireworks, explosions!" she told Heatworld. "I reckon there were sparks. He whispered in my ear that she's hot," Amira added.
Jess Plummer, another bandmate, also chimed in. "Yeah same! He said that she's amazing, he said 'Asami's really hot!' and I was like 'yeah she is isn't she!'"
Asami herself probably had to pinch herself many times after the encounter with the singing heartthrob. However, her apparent giddy happiness over the incident did not leave her lost for words, as shown by her statement to Heatworld.
"He was really nice and it was really weird because obviously I'm a really big fan of One Direction but when I was talking to him I didn't feel like I was talking to Harry from One Direction. I just thought I was talking to Harry Styles who just so happened to be in the same business as me," the green-haired singer said.
The certified Harry Styles fan has been vocal about her affection for the 1D crooner even before they even met. So one can imagine her joy on finally meeting her idol during a Brit Award afterparty last month. And she was not quiet about the incident, either.
"I was dancing with Harry and he is so nice, you know. Liam and Harry are both so down to earth and so nice. I was talking to Liam and he was like 'Let's get a picture!' and I was like 'Ok.' It's crazy," she was quoted by Metro as saying. "I still fancy him. And he follows me on Twitter as well. I don't know if I'd want to go on a date though, if I'm honest. But if it happens... I think it would be fun!" she added.
