"Slumdog Millionaire" director Danny Boyle is reportedly in talks to work with Leonardo DiCaprio who is rumored to star in another Steve Jobs biopic, but this time written by Aaron Sorkin.
According to The Verge, there is still no confirmed list of actors to be considered yet but it is Leo's name which stood out above the rest early on. In fact, even the director's seat has considered a lot of other names in the movie industry like "The Social Network" director David Fincher.
News that Danny Boyle is set to direct the latest biopic was triggered after The Hollywood Reporter wrote that Sony Pictures is already in talks with the eyed director.
It can be recalled that the first match up of Boyle and DiCaprio was for the 2000 movie "The Beach." Just like "The Wolf of Wall Street" star, Boyle has also been acclaimed for doing other amazing movies like "127 Hours," "Trainspotting," and even "28 Days Later."
However, there have been other reports too that the actor has already said yes to doing a revenge thriller film by Alejandro Gonzalez, The Guardian reports. If Leo would confirm it as his next movie to do, then the chances of landing the Steve Jobs role is least likely to happen.
This new Steve Jobs biopic is reported to be way different from the one that starred Ashton Kutcher, who bear the closest resemblance to the deceased CEO of Apple, states CinemaBlend. The new film version is rumored to have three chapters with each happening behind the most popular product launch of Apple. The highly anticipated project does not have any confirmed release date yet but with the speed of progress in search for its director, it seems that Sony only has plans of doing things fast with it.
