The brand new trailer for the hit series "Orange Is the New Black" has been finally released! It features once again the memorable Litchfield prison inmates but this time in their second season run.
OITNB Season 2 is set to premiere early June but Netflix has decided to release its dramatic trailer for the pleasure of fans who just can't wait to watch again all the craziness that the cast has to offer. The "Jungle Trailer" alone hints on some notable things fans can expect once the show starts streaming during summer, IBT reports.
The first season of "Orange Is the New Black" starred several actors including Jason Biggs, Taylor Schilling, Danielle Brooks, Uzo Aduba, Taryn Manning, and Michael Harney among many others. Its premiere season became a big hit with a well-mixed cast. In fact, IBT notes that the show won a Peabody Award along while Taylor Schilling was nominated at the Golden Globe Awards in the Best Actress category. Now the trailer clip welcomes a new addition to the gang with Lorraine Toussaint as Vee Parker, states Digital Spy.
The Season 2 trailer of "Orange Is the New Black" shows Piper starting anew as a good girl after having been involved in a severe fight scene in Pennsatucky. IBT says that there is also a lot to expect with how new characters will be woven into the second season's plot just like Yvonne "Vee" Parker. The prison guard John Bennett will also carry on with his secret love affair with Daya but may start to take his prison guard-role less seriously in this brand new season, adds the outlet.
The trailer also hints on several flashbacks happening including Alex and Taylor's meeting at the bar. Such may just be one of the many clues that can help in unravel the stories of each inmate.
"Orange Is the New Black" season 2 trailer first hit online on Thursday morning, according to Washington Post. The women's prison drama is set to please fans once again come June 6, 2014.
