Miley Cyrus has canceled another show - this time in St. Louis as the singer is still recovering from a severe allergic reaction.
The Daily Mail reports that the 21-year-old singer has called off her St. Louis performance, the second one after the canceled Kansas City concert. Miley was hospitalized due to an allergic reaction to sinus infection medicine.
The singer is currently on the American leg of her worldwide "Bangerz" tour and STL Today shared the official statement regarding the show's cancellation issued by Scottrade Center/ Live Nation, which says:
"Tonight's St. Louis date for Miley Cryus' Bangerz Tour at the Scottrade Center has been canceled. Miley continues to be hospitalized due to a severe allergic reaction to antibiotics. Refunds will be available at point of purchase. Tickets purchased online or by phone through Ticketmaster will be automatically refunded. Please stay tuned for the latest information at livenation.com and mileycyrus.com."
Cryus took the time to personally inform fans of the news and posted on social networking site Twitter saying, "I can't get a hold of my team because it is so early so I want to be the one to tell my fans especially the ones trekking to get there(tbc)."
"the hospital is sayin i wont b released today therefore Im not going 2 make it 2 St Louis. Im so sorry but somethings are outta my control," the singer added.
For those who are wondering how long it may take before Miley is up-and-about, TMZ reports, "She'll [Miley] remain hospitalized until her condition improves. Her doctor says an allergic reaction of this kind can last 27 days."
No further details have been released regarding other shows that will be affected or if there will be a re-scheduling of the canceled shows, says KSDK. The singer is expected next at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN.
