Jenny McCarthy appeared on talk show "The View" Wednesday to tell everyone what's got her smiling these days and it's got something to do with love.
McCarthy appeared on Wednesday's episode of "The View" and announced, "I just got engaged!" writes E! Online. The former Playboy model flaunted a beautiful yellow-sapphire ring, reports Daily News and tells viewers that the proposal happened last weekend.
After the big reveal, McCarthy gave details about how Donnie Wahlberg, 44, popped the question with the help of Jenny's 11-year-old son Evan.
"This weekend I was sitting with Donnie and we were doing what couples do... and he went into the other room and Evan out came with a card that said ‘Will' and he handed it to me," said a smiling McCarthy.
"Then Evan ran away and came in with a card that said ‘You.' I started crying and then Evan came into the room with the word ‘Marry' - but spelled wrong," continues the blond-beauty.
A tearful Jenny finally says, "Last, Donnie came out with Evan and Donnie's shirt said 'Me' and he got down on his knee. Of course, I said ‘Yes.' In that moment Evan yelled, ‘I have another dad!' and it made all of us cry."
According to MSN, Jenny, the ex-girlfriend of Jim Carrey, was surprised by her fiancé on the show for a hug and kiss.
"The View" co-host Barbara Walters inquired about the wedding date, to which McCarthy replied to with, "we don't know yet." The pair is reportedly thinking of holding the wedding sometime in August 2015, notes US Magazine.
The couple met on McCarthy's now-canceled VH1 talk show last summer and began their romance soon after. This will be a second marriage for both Jenny and Donnie.
After the show aired, Jenny McCarthy took to Twitter to express thanks to all the well-wishers.
