The extended trailer of the action packed film "Guardians of the Galaxy" has been released.
While the trailer offers only minimal additions from the first official trailer released, fans can see the Star Lord's mask better than in the first sneak peek video.
Chris Pratt stars in the film as lead character Peter Quill, and is starring in the movie along with other movie heavy-hitters like Djimon Hounsou, Glenn Close and Zoe Saldana, reports Just Jared.

According to Marvel's website, the official synopsis of the new action-packed movie is described as:
From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team--the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy" expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits--Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon; Groot, a tree-like humanoid; the deadly and enigmatic Gamora; and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand--with the galaxy's fate in the balance.
Chris Pratt, who spoke to Screen Rant a few weeks back shared some details on the film. He reveals that Quill, the main character, has had a hard family life growing up. Calling Quill "a kid at heart," he's a guy who had to be tough but is basically lonely and embarks on an adventure that opens his eyes to the complexities of life and being your own person.
The summer blockbuster's clip shows some comedic humor that is usually emphasized in recent Marvel films. Excited fans would be happy to know that Marvel Studios will be releasing the film in U.S. theaters on August 1 of this year.
