Venezuelan journalist Nairobi Pinto is still missing and her kidnapping might be related to political interests, according to student leader Gaby Arellano.
Through her Twitter account, Arellano assured that the forced disappearance of Pinto is due to political reasons, making the Minister of the Interior, Justice and Peace, Miguel Rodríguez Torres, responsible for the journalist's safety.

On their part, friends and family of Nairobi emitted a press release in which they asked the young woman's kidnappers to respect her physical, moral and psychological integrity, and requested the Venezuelan people and the international community to ask for the journalist's freedom.
With the hashtag #LiberenANairobi (#FreeNairobi), friends and family of Pinto launched a campaign on social networks to pressure Venezuelan authorities to look for her.
