New film "Chef' written and directed by Jon Favreau has released its official trailer, and it is interesting.
The indie film stars not only one, nor two, but three "Avenger" characters. Watch "Chef" and you'll see three of Marvel's toughest characters, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) swap their suits of armor for everyday Joe's clothes talking about good food and life, notes Perezhilton.
Moving away from the major Hollywood blockbusters Favreau's been working on, like "Iron Man," the film follows a chef named Carl Casper (Favreau) who is frustrated having to take orders from restaurant owners and decides to venture into the food truck business where he can be an independent chef able to make food that he loves.
Below is the clip of the sure-fire-hit 'Chef' headlined by funny-man Jon Favreau:
The film premiered at this year's South By Southwest Film Festival. Speaking about the project, during an interview with Huffington Post, the new film is more than meets the eye.
Favreau shares his vision saying:
"I think it's honestly more about the relationship to the things that are important to you in your life: your family, your kid, your craft. I'm most proud of the fact that it shows there's a recipe for success if you dial into the shit that is going to make your life better. It's counterintuitive, but if you take time away from your career and invest it in your personal life, your career flourishes. That's a lesson I've learned a decade ago. That was the real underlying message of the movie."
Aside from Downey, Favreau, Johansson and Ruffalo, other actors you'll see in the film include Latina beauty Sofia Vergara, Dustin Hoffman, Oliver Platt and John Leguizamo.
Mark your calendars, the film hims theaters on May 9. What do you think? Will you line up to see "Chef"?
