The Duchess of Cambridge has suffered from a wardrobe malfunction during this year's Royal Tour.
Coming down from the plane after touching down in New Zealand on April 7, a strong gust of wind blew Kate Middleton's outfit in the wrong direction. The gust of wind almost flashed the Duchess of Cambridge's undies but fortunately had them spared from full view.
Though Kate's undies were saved, the wind did reveal her slim thighs, as shown in a photo. The Duchess was wearing a red pillar-box coat by British designer Catherine Walker with a red Gina Foster pillbox hat and black pointed heels.
The 32-year old also wore a fern brooch from the Queen's jewelry collection. According to Hollywood Life, the brooch is the national symbol of New Zealand and added a meaningful accent to the whole outfit.
This isn't the first time that Prince George's mum has suffered from a wardrobe malfunction. Back in July 7, 2011, Kate also almost bared her bum and undies reports Hollywood Life, thanks to the ever patronizing gust of wind, still at a Royal Tour. Wearing a yellow Jenny Packham dress, the Duchess of Cambridge managed to not reveal more than her slim thighs under the modest yellow dress she was wearing.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, along with the 8-month old baby Prince George arrived in Wellington, New Zealand after a 25-hour flight for the first day of this year's Royal Tour. The 2014 Royal Tour is 19 days long and spans New Zealand and Australia.
Needless to say, the 19-day tour appears so jam-packed that even Prince George got some work to do. The 8-month old royalty will hopefully meet parents and their babies at the Government House in Wellington on April 9, of course, with his parents. The royal family is headed to Sydney, Australia on April 16. View the complete Royal Tour 2014 itinerary HERE.
