Jon "Bones" Jones if widely known for his ferocious fighting style inside the Octagon. In an interview with Fox Sports, the reigning UFC light heavyweight champion's manager, Malki Kawa, revealed that Jones is on the look out for a new career in show business.

Kawa said, "Actually, Jon's been offered a lot of different acting opportunities. He's actually been offered some different roles, some very cool ones [but] the timing just wasn't right, and I don't think Jon was really ready for them because of training camps and some of the things he had going on."

"Just so you guys are aware, he could have had his first movie done a year and half ago, two years ago, he's been offered some parts," Kawa added.

The manager also said that fans of the champ might get to see him in his own reality show in the near future. "There's a reality show deal on the table for him right now. There's a whole bunch of things going on for him, his brothers, everything."

But Kawa reassured UFC followers that Jones' focus is still on his professional fighting career before moving on to acting. For him, finishing his contract with the promotion company is his top priority.

Kawa continued, "There's a lot of opportunities out there, but Jon is concentrating on this fight stuff. He's going to get this fight over and done with, and once this fight is done you'll start hearing more about Jon getting involved with acting."

As to what type of Hollywood roles Jones is looking forward to playing, he previously mentioned that he wants to follow the acting path paved by former WWE star Dwayne "The Rock Johnson."

Of course, being a professional fighter, Kawa said seeing Jones in an action film would feel more natural. After action, his client would like to venture into comedy and even drama.

Kawa commented, "I think action will be a more natural fit for him at first. I would bet the house that it's action, but my boys at William Morris (agency) come up with crazy stuff so you never know. 'Hot Tub Time Machine 2,' I think they had a part for him in that and timing just didn't work out, but he can be in all types of stuff."

But before transitioning into the world of celebrities, Jones will be defending his title against Brazilian mixed martial artist Glover Teixeira in UFC 172 happening on April 26 at the Baltimore Arena in Maryland, according to Sherdog.
