Vin Diesel reportedly suffered a minor concussion while shooting the upcoming film.
The actor took to his Facebook account saying, "Knocked skulls with Statham, literally... then got beaten with lead pipes. Slammed against a car and suffered a minor concussion..." The incident doesn't seem to stop Vin Diesel from filming "Fast and Furious 7" though.
Remembering the late Paul Walker, he added, "But I promised Pablo this would be the biggest film in history... haha... all in a days work. P.s. Proud of the whole Fast team."
The cast and crew of "Fast and Furious 7" were in shambles after learning that the film's Brian O'Connor passed away in a car crash. Apart from grieving the loss of a team mate, the production crew of the car-focused film also had to deal with the storyline.
Kurt Russell, who allegedly only had one more day left on set at the time of Paul's death, said in a BBC report, "They're having to rewrite, they're having to do whatever they're having to do to deal with the situation. It's catastrophic. It's the worst thing that could happen to a movie but it's not as bad as what happened to Paul."
An initial report by The Hollywood Reporter says that Paul Walker's character will be made to retire in the upcoming film. The higher ups allegedly "devised a plan to tweak the existing script so that Walker would remain a part of the story but could be written out, allowing the franchise to continue without him."
However, Chris Morgan dismissed the claim, telling IGN, "There's nothing set in stone at all. Those are the conversations we're just now having. Nothing's decided. Everything is still open and on the table."
It is not yet clear how Brian O'Connor will be played out in "Fast and Furious 7" but what's clear is Vin Diesel's determination to make the seventh run of the "Fast and Furious" franchise a good one.
The film is allegedly due out in April 2015.
