Since the acquisition of Marvel by Disney four years ago, the studio has been busy producing a series of superhero films. And based on recent news reports, new Marvel films are expected to be released in the next couple of years.

And to further entice superhero film fans, the company's president, Kevin Feige revealed that Disney has mapped out a lineup of films until 2028, Business Week reported.

Commenting on Marvel and Disney's future projects, Feige said, "It's like looking through the Hubble telescope. You go, 'What's happening back there? I can sort of see it.'"

He added, "They printed out a new one recently that went to 2028."

As to what movie goers can expect from the studio in the next 14 years, Cinema Blend pointed out that in August and May of this year, "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "The Avengers: Age of Ultron" will be released respectively.

Then, in July of next year, audiences will get to see the big screen version of "Ant-Man", followed by the third "Captain America" film which is scheduled for May of 2016. It's also quite possible that a "Thor 3" and another "Hulk" film will be unveiled by the studio.

Aside from these established titles, Marvel is also planning on releasing films for "Dr. Strange," "Captain Marvel," and "Black Panther."

The idea of making spin-off films in the future is also a viable option for the studio. After all, fans have already been or will be introduced to supporting characters in films such as "The Avengers," "Guardians of the Galaxy," and "Captain America, " it will not come as a surprise if backstory-types of films are released based on these films.

Also, even though Cinema Blend previously explained why a fourth "Iron Man" film may not happen, Don Cheadle, who played Tony Stark's friend James Rhodes, has expressed his interest in a "War Machine" spin-off.
