The young crooner is looking to expand his career, spanning acting and a possible collab with One Direction, according to reports.
In an interview with Sugarscape, the "MMM Yeah" singer admitted that he would not say no to more acting jobs and shows at all. "Yeah, definitely. I'd like to do more acting jobs and more shows and stuff. It's fun and any time I have an opportunity to act, I do it," he said when asked if acting was something he would want to do more of.
Austin Mahone also said that his dream role would be any movie, as long as the film stars Will Ferrell. The actor seems to be the young crooner's fave as he also mentioned him when asked which actor would star as Austine Mahone in a "story of my life" type of movie.
"Will Ferrell again 'cause he's amazing and he's hilarious. Or maybe Mark Wahlberg, I like Mark Wahlberg too," the "MMM Yeah" singer told Sugarscape.
The young lad, who has been linked to Selena Gomez, also told Yahoo UK, "I would love to absolutely go into movies - ideally I'd love to star in an action movie. If I get an opportunity I'm going to take it." In addition, the list of actresses with whom he wants to work with includes Mila Kunis and Jennifer Aniston.
Apart from being an action star, Austin also told Yahoo UK that he is actually a fan of One Direction and is keen on possibly working with the 1D boys. "Aren't One Direction from the UK - yeah I'm a fan of them. I think it'll be real fun to work with them one day," he told the outlet.
Incidentally, Harry Styles is allegedly laying groundwork for a possible US career and was even reported to have bought a home in LA, says The Inquisitr.
"He's already been writing for Kodaline and [The X Factor USA winners] Alex and Sierra, and recording solo demos. He wants to act, too, and he can't get the real gig if he stays in a boy band that 12 year olds like," the outlet reports, citing an unnamed source.
Will Austin Mahone and Harry Styles cross paths and possibly collaborate soon?
