Justin Bieber & Austin Mahone Collaborating on a New Song?

Justin Bieber and Austin Mahone both have something to look forward to following the photos that have been posted by the young singers on social media.

In the photo below, Justin Bieber is accompanied by Austin Mahone, Young Money president Mack Maine and Cash Money founder Birdman. The photo captioned: "What an amazing song last night. The world isn't ready! @justinbieber," while Justin also posted the same photo saying, "New music #YMCMB," effectively teasing about a new music collaboration.

MTV writes that the two singers have been compared to each other numerous times given that both are young talent with a massive female following. Their music is somewhat similar with a penchant for poppy R&B and a bit of rap. Both sporting floppy brown hair and dance skillz, Mahone has also been referred to as "the next Bieber."

Hollywood Gossip has confirmed through an insider that the pair are collaborating on at least one new track. A source has also told Gossip Cop both artists "really respect each other's music" and have worked with "a lot of the same producers." Further, the insider shared that "Justin knew Austin has been in the studio working on his album and had a song he thought could be really perfect to do with Austin."

What About Selena Gomez?

For those who follow the rumor mill on these two singers, there have been reports that link both Mahone and Bieber to Justin's on-again-off-again lady-love, Selena Gomez.

Hollywood Life recalls that Taylor Swift, Selena's bestie, tried to pair Selena with Austin because of her obvious dislike of the "Confident" singer, Justin. A source shares that:

"Taylor loves [Austin]. She thinks he's adorable and knows Justin's threatened by him. Getting him to hang out with Selena was her idea. It's no secret she's not a fan of Justin anymore, so it seems pretty obvious why she'd want to push Austin and Selena together. Plus, Austin is the nicest guy. He's so genuine - what you see is what you get. He doesn't party, he's humble and he's not taking any of this for granted."

If there's any truth to this love-triangle, it'll be interesting to see how this new-found friendship will play out.
