Filmmakers Lana and Andy Wachowski's new film stars Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis with the following story line provided by Coming Soon:
"Jupiter Jones (Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning other people's houses and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along-her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos."
The international cast also includes Sean Bean, Eddie Redmayne, Douglas Booth, Tuppence Middleton, Doona Bae, James D'Arcy and Tim Pigott-Smith, reports CTC.
"Jupiter Ascending" hits theaters on July 18th, 2014 and is produced by Grant Hill and written and directed by Andy and Lana Wachowski who were the same team responsible for "Speed Racer" and "Cloud Atlas."
Co-Stars Tatum and Kunis have been promoting their new film and had hit the red carpet for the first time on Thursday, March 27, since the actress' pregnancy news hit the web. Dressed in a draped navy blue sleeveless dress (click here), the newly engaged actress sparked pregnancy rumors after allegedly being spotted leaving yoga prenatal classes. E! News was the first to break the news last week that Mila and fiancé Ashton Kutcher were expecting.
