For "American Horror Story", the title is as important as the show itself: first came "Murder House", then "Asylum", and last season's "Coven". For fans, the title is the dead giveaway where the show will take its audience next, and for season four, the creator and cast will send everyone to a "Freak Show".

According to Cinema Blend, early speculations indicated that the horror series will be sending their viewers to a carnival; and a little over a week ago, this news has been confirmed, thanks to a slip from the Nerdist Writers Panel. Although the carnival setting was considered to be a rough plan that time, it has already been said that Jessica Lange will be back again with a kooky German accent, this time as the manager for one of the last freak shows in the U.S. This means that the central plot will be set in the 1950s.

The Mirror UK suggests that the next season will be set in Jupiter, Florida. According to creator Ryan Murphy, "If you look historically what happened in the year 1950, there's some more clues in that year. It's a period piece." He also added, "We try and do the opposite of what we've done before. Jessica Lange has already started practicing her German accent so I'm very excited!"

Lange and her new German accent would be the last of her performances on "AHS" however, as she confirmed that the fourth season will be her last on the series. She told Entertainment Weekly that "It ends up being a lot of time during the year being committed to something. Once it's over and I have a full year ahead of me with nothing to do, who knows? It might not have been the best decision, but I think four years doing something is a sufficient amount of time."

"American Horror Story" will be back for its fourth season in October 2014.
