Robin Thicke Paula Patton Divorce: Actress Still Not Taking Estranged Husband Back; Find Out Why

Good news for singer Robin Thicke: Estranged wife Paula Patton has not called in the divorce lawyers yet.

Not-so-good news: He's still got a lot of proving and wooing to do.

TMZ reported that "sources close to Paula" said that the 'Blurred Lines' singer's efforts at getting her back aren't that convincing enough for her. The insiders said he still needs to prove he can be a good husband

"We're told Paula is saying the same thing she's said since she threw in the towel late last month," the entertainment news site added.

The father of one has done his share in mending his marriage. He has publicly begged for mercy in his concerts, in some interactions with the media, and also in private - he reportedly flew to where Paula was shooting in Canada in the efforts to change her mind and make amends. However, these weren't enough to push the actress into reconciling with her long time partner.

The fact that they've been lovers for more than a decade probably factored into Paula's reticence. She, of all people, would know his romance M.O. and can gauge when he really means to make his marriage work and last.

"On the other hand ... we're told she still has not met with a divorce lawyer and has made no decision to file legal docs," TMZ also revealed.

That's not a surprise - the 38-year-old actress is sensible enough to realize that one cannot just throw away a relationship that has spanned nearly two decades just like that. Plus there's their 3-year-old son Julian to consider, too.

The couple were high school sweethearts and were supposed to mark this year as their 9^th year as a married couple. However, Paula called time on their marriage early this year in the wake of a number of scandals that cast doubt on Robin's fidelity to his beautiful wife. He was photographed grabbing a blonde socialite's butt late last year and also was seen to be too close for comfort with a much younger lady in an NYC club.
