Today, news broke that Holly Madison, Hugh Hefner's ex-girlfriend, is twelve months pregnant with boyfriend Pasquale Rotella's child.
Madison achieved notoriety during the show Girls Next Door in 2005, and later appeared Playboy magazine with her costars, Kendra Wilkinson and Bridget Marquardt. Madison was also a competitor in Dancing with the Stars' eighth season.
Since 2009, she has starred in a burlesque show entitled Peepshow in Las Vegas. Holly also starred in a show entitled Holly's World, which lasted for two seasons before being cancelled.
Holly and Hefner's relationship reportedly ended in 2008 as a result of the Playboy mogul's unwillingness to get married. "I love Holly very much and I think we're going to be together the rest of my life, but marriage isn't part of my puzzle. It's not a personal thing; I just haven't had any luck with marriages."
In an interview with People in 2009, Holly said: "I'm never dating anybody again. I don't need a man. I'm really happy with myself and being with my friends...I'm focused on forwarding my career. I'm working on producing my own shows. Girls Next Door was a great place to start but it was somebody else's show. I'm just ready to move on."
"Hef and I can't get married and have kids...so it was fun while it lasted but it wasn't right for my age. I got too old for Hef," she expressed.
Madison began dating Rotella nine months ago. In a recent interview with people she stated, "I'm happier than I've ever been in my personal life."
The future mom took to twitter on August 29th to say, "Thank you for all the words of congratulations! :)"
