They say third time's a charm and, as such, there must be high hopes that Halle Berry's third marriage would be "it" for her. However, with news of her "separation" from French actor Olivier Martinez, it appears husband # 3 may not be her last beau.
But then again, they may just reconcile and live happily ever after, with a couple of arguments sprinkled in.
Hollywood Life noted that Halle and Olivier has not been seen together since December last year and are allegedly living separately due to "super busy work schedules."
"Berry is now shooting her new CBS series, 'Extant,' in Los Angeles, while Martinez has been busy working on 'Revenge' in a guest-star role that starts Sunday on the hit ABC show," New York Daily News reported.
However, what gave rise to suspicions that all is not well on the marriage front was the fact that the 47-year-old actress was allegedly spotted not wearing her during a post-Oscars party. Plus, Olivier was nowhere near her during this time.
Despite this, Halle insisted that work was to blame.
"I'm working on a television show now, so I'm juggling working and being a mom and breast feeding while I'm working. It's a whole new life for me now all over again, having a new little baby again," she told People while at the Fame & Philanthropy Post Oscar party in Beverly Hills Sunday.
The Academy Award-winning actress gave birth to son Maceo in October last year. She also has a six-year-old daughter, Nahla, from a previous relationship with model Gabriel Aubry.
Oliver and Halle tied the knot on July 9, 2013 in France. They first met while working on the movie 'Dark Tide' and became a couple in 2010. While the marriage is the 48-year-old actor's first, it's Halle's third. She was previously married to baseball player David Justice in 1993 and to singer Eric Benet in 2001.
Will they stay together or will this couple be just one of the many Hollywood couplings whose marriage bit the dust?
