Look who's not broken up yet! Rumors about the cancellation of the engagement and split of Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux has been put to rest as the power couple made the rounds of pre-Oscar parties during the weekend. Daily Mail spotted the pair attending the annual Night Before The Oscars gala hosted by the Motion Picture & Television Fund on Saturday.
The UK paper said that the duo, who are committee members of the yearly fundraiser, were very lovey-dovey as they seemed to be all smiles and had been all over each other at the Motion Picture & Television Fund party. Aniston was reportedly glowing while chatting with friends alongside her beau, thanks to a much-needed Mexican getaway. Theroux, on the other hand, was visibly relaxed at the party.
Daily Mail said the couple dressed elegantly for the affair. Aniston showed up with her trademark long bob newly-shorned and in a black strapless dress. Theroux cleaned up nicely in a smart suit and tie.
The night before, Aniston and Theroux also made an appearance at a Creative Artists Agency's Academy Awards pre-party, E! Online said. An eyewitness of the entertainment news site that amid rumors of the split, they looked happy like shy teenagers attending a prom night, opting to hold hands and stick together and preferring to not dance at the CAA affair.
Rumors of the couple breaking up had reached fever heights when media has not seen the pair in several Hollywood events. Daily Mail said that Theroux is currently working on "The Leftovers," a new series for HBO in New York, while his ladylove shot scenes for the sequel to "Horrible Bosses" in Los Angeles.
E! Online said that a source told them that the two opted out to skip the awards by watching the event at home. Could it be because the couple wanted to avoid media attention as Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were also in attendance at the swanky affair too?
The "Mr and Mrs Smith" co-stars, who are also engaged and has a family of their own in real life, showed PDA at the 2014 Oscars, Hollywood Life said. Pitt was in attendance as a co-star and a producer of the Academy Award-winning film "12 Years A Slave," while Jolie is an Oscar winner herself.
