Katy Perry is not only talented, she also has a good head on her shoulders. A few days after her very public split with fellow singer John Mayer, the star announced to her fans, a "miracle" via Twitter.
That miracle did involve a baby, but it definitely isn't hers. In fact, it was her friend's, and she helped deliver it in a living room!
She told her fans, "Finally you can add "helps delivers babies in living rooms" to my resume! It's been a miracle of a day...❤️ Auntie Katy aka Stylist Auntie."
The singer is keeping mum on whose baby it was that she helped deliver, but rumors are that it was her sister's, Angela Hudson.
The news is just the latest in Perry's whirlwind week. First, there was her much-publicized breakup with on-again, off-again boyfriend. Some sources told Us Weekly that the couple's split was "mutual" and "extremely amicable," but there are also reports suggesting otherwise, stating that Perry's tour is what rocked the waters. After all, according to E! News, the pop star is booked solid from May to November, and Mayer is also doing a worldwide tour from April to June.
She then went under fire for her "Dark Horse" music video, which was heavily criticized for being "blasphemous." More than 65, 000 people signed an online petition via Change.Org to have the video altered or removed from YouTube. According to the petition, it is lodged "so that people from different walks of life, different religions and from different parts of the world, agree that the video promotes blasphemy, using the name of God in an irrelevant and distasteful manner would be considered inappropriate by any religion."As a result, the video was altered to remove the controversial use of the name "Allah."
Finally, according to NY Daily, she was also seen locking lips with Miley Cyrus on Saturday during the singer's Bangerz concert in Los Angeles.
