Is a "30 Rock" spin off finally happening? Jenna Maroney apparently is game!
In an appearance on Bravo's "Watch What Happens Live," actress Jane Krakowski talked about the possibility of a spin off featuring the character she has played in the hit television series, E! Online said.
The Tony Award-winning actress told host Andy Cohen, "Oh my god, if they asked me. I loved playing Jenna. I just loved playing somebody who was so not in touch with reality whatsoever. So, she could get away with anything ‘cause she never knew right from wrong. You could go any which way you could and not get in trouble for it."
At the moment, Krakowski is currently engaged in a Fox television pilot titled "Dead Boss." E! Online described the series as a comedy about overachiever Helen Stephens's involvement in the murder of her boss. Krakowski, who plays the titular role, will need to rely on her train-wreck sister to prove her character's innocence.
Krakowski is not the only one who have voiced out enthusiasm over a spin off of the beloved comedy series, who had enjoyed a seven-season run on television. Tracy Morgan, who played eccentric talent Ogbert "Tracy" Jordan on the show, told Yahoo Sports that he is game to a spin off revolving his and Sherri Shepard's character Angie Jordan.
Asked to describe what the spin off would look like, he said, "No, I don't know if I want to do it like that. I think I would love to do it just scripted, multiple camera. Not single camera this time, but multiple camera like The Big Bang Theory or How I Met Your Mother and all that type of stuff."
Meanwhile, Alec Baldwin might not be open to a spin off or to anything that's connected with Hollywood, if one base it on his scathing essay published on the New York Magazine. According to the Guardian, Baldwin recently announced his decision to leave public life.
