Someone's going to be $1.6 million richer, thanks to "Friends."

Lisa Kudrow has been forced by a court to pay out former manager, Scott Howard, $1.6 million worth of back residuals stemming from her cash-cow stint at one of television's most popular shows, said Daily Mail. Basing its report on a story run by RadarOnline, Kudrow cut her ties with Howard three years after "Friends" wrapped up its last episode in 2004.

RadarOnline said that Kudrow testified for her own defense last week about Howard's claims against the actress, which was a 5% cut from her earnings arising from a verbal agreement they have both allegedly entered in 1991. The online showbiz news site said Howard first lodged the lawsuit against the actress in 2008 shortly after she had let him go. Daily Mail said Kudrow had worked with Howard since 1991.

Throughout the trial, Kudrow's compensation for starring in the hit television series was revealed. The Hollywood Reporter said in a separate report that the blonde thespian received a modest $13,500 per episode during the early stages of the series, but negotiated an increase to $1.04 million per episode plus $5 million in other revenues in the last season, THR said. Howard eportedly sued Kudrow to receive a share of the earnings the actress continuously receives via syndication of the show.

It was not clear whether the actress will pursue an appeal, but THR quoted Gerard Sauer of Sauer & Wagner, who represented Kudrow, who said, "The jury's verdict is merely one step in the legal process. This case ultimately will be resolved at the appellate level. Ms. Kudrow has faith in the judicial system, and she believes that the eventual outcome of this contractual dispute will be in her favor."

On the other hand, a photo of Howard enjoying a victory cake with his children circulated online, thanks to TMZ. As of this writing, the article has been taken down and replaced with a 404 error.
