With only a few days before the premiere of ita second season, Bates Motel, A&E's highest-rated program, finally released a new full-length trailer for the much anticipated new season.

Although no more than a lengthy teaser, details about where the show will take the Bates family are glossed over, but the eerie mood stays.

A press release was posted in Screen Rant, saying, "Picking up from last season, Norman (Freddie Highmore) is fixating on Miss Watson's death while Norma's mysterious past starts to haunt the family with the introduction of her brother. Meanwhile, Norman's brother Dylan, (Max Thieriot), gets more entrenched in the familial drug war that fuels White Pine Bay and finds himself right in the middle of the danger as Bradley (Nicola Peltz), who remains on the hunt to uncover her father's killer, is driven to precarious extremes. Sheriff Romero (Nestor Carbonell), is caught up on all fronts as everything in town escalates and Emma (Olivia Cooke) complicates her relationship with Norman as the duo explore new love interests, bringing new and old characters along for the ride."

Although fans would automatically assume that Norman did kill his English teacher, a new promo video released in January revealed that there may be another person at Miss Watson's home, who, according to TV Guide, may have a strong motive to commit murder.

Theories from the International Business Times suggest that the killer may be Bradley's high school boyfriend, Richard Slymore, or Bradley herself, who may have figured out that the teacher was her late father's mistress. With a slew of new characters for the second season, the killer may even be someone that viewers still have to meet.

Bates Motel cast include Freddie Highmore, Vera Farmiga, Max Thieriot, Olivia Cooke, Nicola Peltz, and Nestor Carbonell. New faces will also be introduced in the new season with appearances from Kathleen Robertson, Rebecca Creskoff, Kenny Johnson, Paloma Kwiatkowski, and Michael Vartan.

Season 2 premiers on March 3 at 9PM on A&E, followed by Bates Motel: After Hours at 11.
