After on Sunday, November 23 a known Mexican entertainment magazine reported that telenovela actor William Levy had allegedly proposed to his current girlfriend and mother of his children, Elizabeth Gutiérrez, the Cuban actor's representative told the media that this is just a rumor.
An article published by Mexican entertainment magazine TV y Novelas reported on Sunday that the Cuban actor had given Elizabeth Gutiérrez an engagement ring on the night of December 24, and even claimed that the ring had been bought by William Levy at an exclusive store in Miami, owned by one of his friends.
However, despite the magazine publishing an interview with the supposed owned of the store where William Levy bought the ring, Gladys González', the actor's manager, said on Tuesday, Feb. 26 to People en Español magazine that these statements were false.
"There is no wedding. There are no wedding plans," emphatically said the Cuban actor's manager, who since late 2013 said that he did not have any plans to propose to Elizabeth Gutiérrez, at least not anytime soon, since he has intentions to fully dedicate himself to Hollywood cinema.
"We have no idea where this rumor came from. During the time of the year when they say he allegedly would be getting married, William will be filming 'Term Life'. He has no idea where all of this came from," said González to the entertainment magazine, People en Español.
According to the same source, "Term Life" is William Levy's newest movie project. It's a movie directed by Peter Billingsley, and in which the Cuban actor will share screen time with Vince Vaughn, Hailee Steinfeld and Jordi Molla.
Since his role ended in Univisión's successful telenovela, "La Tempestad", last October, William Levy has stayed away from TV projects to launch his career in big Hollywood productions.
