Telenovela actor William Levy arrived in very good company to the red carpet of the 2014 Lo Nuestro Awards, and said that his companion is his favorite star.
The "star" chosen to accompany William Levy was his son Christopher, who said on camera that he's the one that looks the most like his father, physically, according to People en Español.
In the company of actress and singer Ninel Conde, Levy was the host of the 2014 Lo Nuestro Awards, his first time in the role on Thursday, Feb. 20 in Miami, where the best of Latino music was awarded.
When she arrived at the red carpet, Ninel Conde was interviewed and said that Levy is "her kind of man", acknowledging how "handsome" the Cuban is and his talent as an actor.
Artists in Support of Venezuela at the 2014 Lo Nuestro Awards
During the red carpet of the Lo Nuestro Awards, Latino celebrities expressed their solidarity with the Venezuelan people which is currently fighting to defend their rights against the government of President Nicolás Maduro.
Venezuelan Rodner Figueroa was one of the bearers of the Bolivarian flag in the name of his people, the Venezuelan was followed by Chino y Nacho, and host Chiquinquirá Delgado.
Singers Marc Anthony and Daddy Yankee also joined in favor of peace in Venezuela.
The Lo Nuestro Awards are presented every year by TV network Univisión since 1989 to acknowledge the best of Latino music, mainly in the American market.
The show is broadcast throughout the Americas and is recognized as one of the most important events of the music industry in Latin America.
The Lo Nuestro Awards have acknowledged the talent of great stars such as Celia Cruz, Gloria Estefan, Thalía, Daddy Yankee, Placido Domingo and Juan Gabriel, who have conquered the Latino public in the United States and the world.
