The horse symbolizes travel at a faster speed. As such, astrologers predict that it will be a "fast year" for us, The Independent reported. Also, since this zodiac sign is under the Fire element, there will be conflicts involved. However, these should not deter you from pursuing your goals. Instead, it should help you find better ways and strategies to make things happen.

Paul Ng, a Feng Shui expert, said that a "business involving wood or fire" - like agricultural firms, lumber companies, and media outfits - will be good for us.

Also, your "luck" this year may mostly depend on your zodiac sign. If you're a horse, it's best to lay low this year as things will be a bit too fiery for you.

If you were born in the year of the Rabbit (1927, 1939, 1951, 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011), never be discouraged and follow your dreams, advised Feng Shui society member Foon Chik.

If you're a Dragon (1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012), stand firm and do your homework. Watch out for offers that come with strings attached. Tigers (1926, 1938, 1950, 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010) need to be restrained this year and not get carried away by your "madcap" schemes, Foon said.

Rats must stay resilient, no matter what the year brings. Ox people will be lucky in love this year and must put themselves out there. Those born under the year of the Snake will need to use their "subtle tactics" to win over conflicts. Roosters must not be too fussy in the romance department to make the most of their romantic opportunities this year.

Goats must learn to be contented in 2014 and count their blessings. Meanwhile, dogs should let loved ones support them when they need help. Also, Pigs need to be less of a control freak this year and just be a bit more laid back with things. Monkeys need to move or travel in order to amplify their chances of success.
