The latest reincarnation of the franchise 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' has a new look. In the new big budgeted film produced by Michael Bay, their latest transformation has been called by the HollywoodLife as the most intense one yet.
The latest versions of Leonardo, MichaelAngelo, Raphael and Donatello can be seen here. Even the heavily armored Shredder has undergone a make-over. As described in ComicsAlliance.com, there are more clothes for these reptilian ninjas aside from their known garb of headbands, elbow pads, knee pads and belts. Shredder now looks more like Megatron, but is not a great departure for the villain of the series.
Unfortunately, as reported on The Verge, the said pictures were requested to be pulled down by the studio Paramount. What still remains though is the schedule of the movie, which is said to be launched by August 2015. There is also confirmation that Bay would be working again with one of his former stars on the Transformers series, Megan Fox. She will be playing the role of April O'Neill. Directing this childhood classic is Jonathan Liebesman with Michael Bay as executive producer.
One such site that has escaped the take down request is io9.com, which showed an image of Leonardo here, as well as Shredder.
What remains to be seen is how faithful the movie would be to the original versions of the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'. The HollywoodReporter said that the new movie would be the re-telling of the origin story of the Turtles. There were indications that there would be an alien aspect to the origin story, which has raised many eyebrows.
Joining Megan Fox would be Will Arnett as the bumbling Vernon Fenwick, while Leonardo would be voiced by Pete Ploszek, Raphael by Alan Ritchson, Donatello by Jeremy Howard and Michaelangelo by Noel Fisher.
We all would just wait for "Turtle Power!"
