Sometimes, people have to show more sensitivity, and that's what singer Ariana Grande thinks when it concerns Justin Bieber, who has been in bad press over the past several months.
According to Entertainmentwise, Grande is known to be close friends with Bieber after meeting him through their mutual manager. So it's no surprise when she showed concern for her fellow singer who was recently arrested and charged with a DUI and resisting arrest..
In an interview with the local CBS radio station, Grande indicated that the reaction of many to Bieber's DUI is appalling. She said about Bieber, "I think it's really serious. I've seen tweets of people making fun of the mugshot and all this stuff, and it's so ignorant.
"It's gotten to a point where I just want him to be okay. It's this very serious thing. It's not just like a kid who's, you know screwing around, it's dangerous. It's very serious and upsetting."
She also added, "I just want him to be okay, that's all. I just think it's a serious thing. And I don't think it's something to make fun of anymore. I don't think it's funny anymore."
Referring to the investigation following the alleged egg-throwing vandalism on Bieber's neighbor's house, Grande said, "I mean you could throw an egg at a house. Who the hell cares. Just shut up. That was annoying - don't search somebody's house."
"But it's just the health part that is concerning to me, because he's a great person and a very talented boy, and I want the best for him, so I just hope that he's okay," Grande explained.
She also said about Bieber that "He's the most visible and yet isolated human being I've ever met."
Meanwhile, HollywoodLife reports that Bieber is rumored to be in Panama with his (unconfirmed) new girlfriend, Chantel Jeffries, along with his family, for an intervention.
