Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom were open about their split. After all, they aired the details on 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians', including a very incoherent phone call and odd behavior from the NBA player. Viewers almost developed sympathy for him, but HollywoodLife reported that viewers should not feel sorry for Lamar just yet. As it turns out, he saw the episodes before they were aired on E! out of Khloe's respect for her former love.
A source said, "Lamar and his agent Jeff [Schwartz] have approval over every single episode that Lamar is in or that he is a topic of discussion of. Khloe did this out of respect for him. She makes sure everything is run by him and his agent."
Joe Odom, Lamar's father, said vicious things about the Kardashian-Jennings clan, blaming them for his son's problems, and shocking Khloe upon learning this in the January 20 premier of 'KUWTK'.
Lamar immediately clears up the issue, however, by calling Khloe and apologizing in his father's behalf.
In other Kardashian news, Mstarz reported that Lamar didn't blame himself for his split with Khloe, and is encouraging his former wife to move in with her rumored beau, Matt Kemp.
Mother Kardashian, Kris Jenner, denied that her daughter and Kemp are dating, telling everyone that "He's a family friend. We all live in the same neighborhood and we all hang out. He's a great guy who we adore, but he's just a friend. That's it."
A source close to Lamar said in another article in HollywoodLife that "He never asked her to feel that way or put her life on hold to help him. He went about his business and wanted to be left alone. He needed space to do whatever he wanted to do and he did so away from Khloe so he wouldn't hurt her."
