Reality starlet, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi gave birth early Sunday morning in New Jersey, reported the Los Angeles Times. The baby, a boy, is the first for Polizzi and her fiancé Jionni LaValle.
On Sunday, the "Jersey Shore" member tweeted, "I am SO IN LOVE with my son Lorenzo Dominic! I had my little man last night, healthy at 6lbs! HE'S MY WORLD!"
The star's representative told MTV News that the baby was born just before 3 a.m. on Sunday at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, N.J. The rep added, "The world just got another Guido!!! Lorenzo Dominic LaValle has entered the world weighing 6lbs, 5oz. Nicole, Jionni & Enzo are doing great!"
Polizzi and LaValle announced their engagement and their pregnancy in March. The couple found out in May that they were expecting a boy in May.
Actress Anna Faris also gave birth during the weekend, welcoming a son with husband, actor Chris Pratt, on Saturday.
According to Reuters, in a statement released Saturday, Faris' representative said, "Anna Faris and Chris Pratt are happy to announce the birth of their beautiful baby boy Jack. He arrived earlier than expected and will be spending some time in the (neonatal intensive care unit). The happy parents thank you for your warm wishes and ask that you honor their privacy during this time."
The couple announced that they were expecting a baby in May and were originally due in the fall.
