Razzie Award Nominations: 'Grown Ups 2' and 'After Earth' Lead Nominations

On Jan. 15, the Razzie awards announced the nominees for the Worst Films of 2013.

"Grown Ups 2″ led the nominations with eight, including one for Razzie favorite Adam Sandler (Worst Actor). Sandler has already taken home two Razzies and could win his third this year. The annual awards, celebrating their 34th year, honor the worst films and performances every year.

The other Worst Picture of the year nominees included "A Madea Christmas," "Movie 43″ and "After Earth," each picking up six nominations.

The "Madea" director, writer and star Tyler Perry was nominated in the Worst Actress category for his cross-dressing performance while Sylvester Stallone received a roundup nomination in the Worst Actor category for all three of his films released this year; "Grudge Match," "Bullet to the Head" and "Escape Plan."

"The Lone Ranger" was also picked as one of the Worst Films of the year. The film was also nominated for Worst Actor (Johnny Depp) and Worst Director (Gore Verbinski).

Once an Oscar hopeful, Naomi Watts received a worst Actress nomination for her starring role in "Diana" as well as "Movie 43."

Lindsay Lohan received two nominations. She was nominated for Worst Actress for "The Canyons" and Worst Supporting Actress for "Inappropriate Comedy" and "Scary Movie 5."

Oscar winner Halle Berry was nominated for "Movie 43" and "The Call." Meanwhile, Salma Hayek ("Grown Ups 2") and Lady Gaga ("Machete Kills") were nominated for Worst Supporting Actress.

Although most of Hollywood skips the event, it is well known that Sandra Bullock and Halle Berry accepted the awards at the press conference. The Razzie winner will be announced March 1, the day prior to the Academy Awards.
